Caribbean Stud Poker is a game with rules similar to Casino Stud Poker and originated, as the name suggests, on the Caribbean islands before spreading throughout the world.
The player's goal is to beat the dealer's hand. Five cards are dealt to the player, for which they must pay an ante. If they wish to continue with the hand they then make a calling bet (twice the ante) and challenge the dealer's hand, alternatively they can surrender their ante. It is also possible to win a progressive jackpot which increases with every hand played.
